Lucan Mills reaches ‘Level 1’ with brand new EP

Melodic hip-hop specialist ready to unleash new release on October 20th

A London based artist who is already making waves in the capital’s independent scene, Lucan Mills is a rapper who offers a unique style of hip-hop designed to thrive with a live band. His burgeoning career has already seen him rap with Ed Sheeran as well as supporting huge names in the genre such as Tinie Tempah, G Unit, Skepta and JME. He’s even shared Ibiza stages with Chipmunk and N Dubz

His upward momentum makes this the perfect time to release his debut EP, titled ‘Level 1’. The title, chosen to reflect that Lucan is starting at ‘Level 1’ before working his way up, reflects on the fact that this hard working artist has his feet on the ground while harbouring big ambitions. And with his well-produced, accessible brand of urban song writing, those ambitions could be fulfilled sooner than later.

For a taste of his sound, here’s EP track ‘It’s Just Rap’:

With the support of a large and growing social media fan base, Lucan Mills is a rapper whose upward trajectory has been unstoppable in recent years. In addition to playing alongside the names above, he also wowed independent crowds on his way to placing in the top 4 of the prestigious national talent contest Open Mic UK.

And with the EP due in October, 2015 is set to be another year of strong progress from this talented young man.
