The Floating Bridges have made a name for themselves in their native Queensland, working with local legend Brian Goodworth and receiving praise from Australian icon Jimmy Barnes when they supported him in concert.
The band – who describe their reggae-infused rock as “Red Hot Chili Peppers meets Bob Marley” – have already been highlighted as one to watch, having been featured on Triple J Unearthed, the one-stop shop for finding the best new music from Down Under.
The track features the traditional offbeat rhythms of reggae as well as the spiritual side of roots music, combined with Jimi Hendrix-style rock-n-roll guitar, which allows for an undeniably original yet authentic sound.
